♥️Let’s Do This Simple Act & Gain Nearness to Allah👇

A’oodhu-Billahi-Minash-shaytanir-Rajeem.

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem.

Laa ilaaha illallaah Muhammad’ur Rasoolullah.

Assalamu-Alaikum-wa-Rahmatullahi-wa-Barakaatahu.

❤️💎Hadith:- Abu Umāmah(radhiyallahu anhu) reported that the Prophet‎ﷺ said:

♦️🔷❝The closest people to Allah are the ones who give the Salām first.❞ [Abu Dāwud].

In the narration of At-Tirmidhi: The Messenger of Allahﷺ was asked:

♦️🔷❝When two persons meet, who should give the Salām first?❞

Heﷺ said: ❝The one who is closer to Allah.❞

📚 Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2694(Sahih); Sunan Abī Dāwūd 5197(Sahih); Riyad as-Salihin 858.

🔹➡️Explanation:- The best of people and those who are the most obedient to Allah are the ones who hasten to greet their brothers with Salām (greetings of peace saying: Assalāmu-Alaikum). This is because he hastens to do an act of obedience to Allah, seeking Allah’s reward. This is what makes him closest to Allah and most obedient to Him.

Only Allāh subḥānahu wa ta’āla knows the best…

All the praise and appreciation is due to Allāh…

🤲May Allāh subḥānahu wa ta’āla accept this from us.

🤲Allahumma inni as’aluka min khairi ma sa’alaka minhu nabiyyuka Muhammadun‎ﷺ. Wa a’oodhu bika min sharri mas-ta’adha minhu nabiyyuka Muhammadun‎ﷺ. Wa Antal-Musta’anu, wa ‘alaikal-balaghu, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa billah.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ بِكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ وَعَلَيْكَ الْبَلاَغُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِالله

[O Allah, I ask You from the good of what all Your Prophet Muhammadﷺ asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of all those which Your Prophet Muhammadﷺ sought refuge in You from, and You are the one from Whom aid is sought, and it is for You to fulfill, and there is no power or strength except with Allah the Exalted, the Great.]
