Prostrations ~ A means of Nearness to Almighty ♥️🤍❤️
A’oodhu-Billahi-Minashaitanir-Rajeem
Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem
🤲 Allâhumma a’innî alâ dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibâdatika.
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
[O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner.]
Few Hadiths on prostrations(may Allah have mercy on all the narrators)👇
Hadith:- The Prophetﷺ said,
“On the day of Resurrection, my nation will be radiant from prostrating and shining from Wudu(ablution).“
📚 Jami` at-Tirmidhi 607, Grade:Sahih
Hadith:- The Messenger of Allahﷺ said,
“When the son of Adam recites a verse of prostration and he prostrates, Satan withdraws(goes into seclusion) weeping and he says: Woe to me! The son of Adam was commanded to prostrate and he prostrated, so he will go to Paradise. I was commanded to prostrate and I refused, so I will go to Hellfire.”
📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 81(Sahih); Sunan Ibn Majah 1052(Sahih)
Hadith:- The Messenger of Allahﷺ said,
“No servant prostrates for the sake of Allah but that Allah will record for him one good deed, erase one bad deed, and raise his status by a degree. Thus, perform many prostrations.”
📚 Sunan Ibn Mājah 1424, Grade: Sahih(Al-Albani)
Hadith:- The Messenger of Allahﷺ said,
“You must perform many prostrations to Allah, for you do not prostrate to Allah but that Allah will raise you one degree for it and erase one sin for it.”
📚 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 488, Grade: Sahih
Hadith:- The Prophetﷺ said,
“No servant prostrates for the sake of Allah but that Allah will raise his status by a degree and expiate one of his sins.”
📚 Jami` at-Tirmidhi 388, Grade: Sahih
Hadith:- The Messenger of Allahﷺ said,
“A slave becomes nearest to his Rubb when he is in prostration. So increase supplications while prostrating.“
📚 Riyad as-Salihin 1428, Riyad as-Salihin 1498
Hadith:- The Prophetﷺ said,
“The Fire will consume all of the son of Adam except the mark of prostration. Allah has forbidden the Fire to consume the mark of prostration.’”
📚 Sunan Ibn Majah 4326, Grade:Sahih
Only Allāh subḥānahu wa ta’āla knows the best…
🤲 Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oodhu bi’ridhaaka min sakhatika, wa bimu’aafaatika min ‘uqoobatika, wa ‘a’oodhu bika minka, laa ‘uhsee thanaa’an ‘alayka, ‘Anta kamaa ‘athnayta ‘alaa nafsika.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ
[O Allah, I seek refuge with Your Pleasure from Your anger. I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count Your praises, You are as You have praised Yourself.]
