[My Lord! Grant me wisdom, and join me with the righteous. Bless me with honourable mention among later generations. And make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Delight.]
🤲 Allaahumma ‘innee a’oodhu bika minal-hammi wal’hazani, wal’ajzi wal’kasali, wal’jubni, wal’bukhli, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaal.
[O Allāh! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by other men.]
🔵 Hadith:- Abdur-Rahman bin Aban bin ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan narrated that his father said (radhiyallahu anhum): The Messenger of Allāh(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:
💎“Whoever is focused only on this world, Allāhﷻ will confound his affairs and make him fear poverty constantly, and he will not get anything of this world except that which has been decreed for him.
💎Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allāhﷻ will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lot, and his provision and worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him.”
📚 Sunan Ibn Majah 4105(Sahih).
🟠 Our affairs should be Moderate – Between Extremism and Negligence
🟣 Hadith:- Jabir bin ‘Abdullah(radhiyallahu anhu) narrated: The Messenger of Allāh(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) passed by a man who was praying on a rock, and he went towards Makkah and stayed a while, then he left and found the man still praying as he had been. He stood up and clasped his hands, then said:
💎 “O people, you should observe moderation,” three times, “for Allāhﷻ does not get tired (of giving rewards) but you get tired.”
📚 Sunan Ibn Majah 4241(Hasan).
💚Imaam al-Awzaa`ee(rahimahullah) said:
❝ There is no matter which Allāh subḥānahu wa ta’āla has commanded, except that Shaitaan opposes it (and misleads many people towards) two characteristics regarding it – and it doesn’t matter to which one of them he leads – either Ghuloo (extremism, exaggeration, excessiveness) or Taqseer (failure to comply, falling short, negligence, abandonment).❞
📚 Kashf al-Khafaa’ (1/470), and Majoo` al-Fataawa of Ibn Taymiyyah (3/381 & 14/483).
Whichever side one takes – either extremism in religion or abandonment of religious obligations – it is full of dangers. This is why Allāh subḥānahu wa ta’āla made this Ummah as Wasat (Moderate, Justly Balanced) in all the religious matters.
Only Allāh subḥānahu wa ta’āla knows the best…
All the praise and appreciation is due to Allah…

[O Allah, I ask you for gardens of firdous (Jannatul Firdous) and I seek refuge from the fire.]
🤲 Allāhumma salli wa sallim ‘alaa Nabiyyinaa Muhammadin.
[O Allah, we ask for your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad.]
🤲 Sub’haana rabbika rabbil ‘izzati amma yasifun wa salaamun alal mursaleen wal’hamdulillahi rabbil aalameen.
[Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. And peace upon the messengers. And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds.]
🤲 Sub’haanaka Allāhumma wa bi hamdika, ash’hadu an laa ilaaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayka.
[Glorified be You, O Allāh, our Lord, I praise You. There is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent (of my sins) to You.]
