A’oodhu-Billahi-Minashaitanir-Rajeem

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem

💚 Hadith:- Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa(radhiyallahu anhu) reported:

A man came to the Prophet(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and said, “I cannot memorise anything from the Qur’an, so teach me something which is sufficient for me.”

The Prophet(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said, “Say:

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Sub’hanAllahi wal’Hamdulillahi walaa ilaaha illallahu wallahu Akbar wa Laa haula wa laa quwwata illa billahil aliyyil Adheem(Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is most great, and there is no might and no strength but in Allah.)”

The man said: Messenger of Allah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam), this is for Allah, but what is for me?

He(sallallahu alaihi wasallam)said: “Say:

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَاهْدِنِي

Allahummarhamni warzuqni wa aafini wahdini(O Allah have mercy on me, and sustain me, and keep me well, and guide me.)”

When he stood up, he made a sign with his hand(indicating that he had earned a lot).

The Messenger of Allah(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “He filed up his hand with virtues.”

📚Sunan Abī Dāwūd 832, Grade:Hasan(Al-Albani)

💚 Hadith:- Mu’sab b. Sa’d(radhiyallahu anhu) reported on the authority of his father that a desert Arab came to Allah’s Messenger(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and said to him: “Teach me the words which I should (often) utter.”

He(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Say,

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ

Laa ilaaha illallahu wahdahu laa shareeka lahu AllahuAkbar kabeera wal’Hamdulillahi katheera Sub’hanAllahi rabbil aalameen Laa haula wa laa quwwata illa billahil Azeez il Hakeem(There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Allah is the Greatest of the great and all praise is due to Him. Hallowed be Allah, the Lord of the worlds, there is no Might and Power but that of Allah, the All-Powerful and the Wise.)”

He (that desert Arab) said: “These all (glorify) my Lord. But what about me?”

Thereupon Prophet(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “You should say:

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي

Allahummaghfirli warhamni wahdini warzuqni(O Allah, grant me pardon, have mercy upon me, direct me to righteousness and provide me sustenance.)”

📚Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2696, Grade:Sahih(Muslim)

Only Allah subḥānahu wa ta’āla knows the best…
